This Privacy Policy explains how Christopher Oliveira ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use The Devotional App mobile application and related services (the "Service").

We do not collect: precise location, contacts, your photo library (beyond a profile photo you choose), health data, or browsing history outside the app.
02How we use AI with your content
When you enter a Bible reference, we send that reference (not your journal entries or personal information) to our AI provider to generate insights and prompts. AI providers process this as a transient request and do not retain it for training purposes.
Your journal entries are stored privately on your account and are never used to train AI models, shared with third parties, or displayed publicly.
03Where your data lives
Account and devotional data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) on servers located in US East (N. Virginia). Supabase acts as a data processor and is contractually required to protect your information. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.
05Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data, available in your account settings
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and data at any time, right in the app: open your profile tab, tap Account & sign out, then Delete Account. You can also email us at hello@luneostudios.com and we will do it for you.
- Export your journal entries; contact us for a data export
- Opt out of non-essential communications
Residents of California, the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under applicable law.
06Children
The Devotional App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
07Security
We protect your information using industry-standard practices including encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and secure authentication flows. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of any material breach affecting your account.
08Data retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g., tax or billing records).
09Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
